We have heard how schools have been labelled as "scam" and how some students have bragged of dropping out because of the workload and stress. Come to think of it, why would you opt for education knowing fully well what is involved and wanting to back out at the tail-end?. This is one predicament students go through. No course in the institution is easy, everything you want to achieve comes with hardwork and determination. The system has made education in a way that only the strong and willed ones gets admitted as there are different stages and tests to pass so as to become a bonafide student.
Growing up, everyone had dreams and furures they intend to build with the first key being education. It is very necessary to be educated even if at all you've settled to do business because it gets to a point you would need to stand up for yourself in the midst of your mates and show what you are capable of, if you are not educated, you would be taken as a joke. As it was earlier stated, the school doesn't just imbibe knowledge but morals. A degree consists of years of gathering knowledge plus years of improving morals.
Education is the best legacy; "if you educate a girl child, you educate a nation", for the northern parts of the country, it is a very big deal for one to pass through the four corners of the school because of the huge lack of interest amongst them. Aside the fact that it could make one's greener pasture come true, it also gives room to eradicate some practises that are not beneficial to man; it opens and widens the horizon of individuals, like the idea of northerners (ladies) being in the kitchen without getting educated all their life and some absurd culture that causes harm to mankind can be put to a stop.
For some students, they spend 4 years, others 5 or more years in school according to their courses though. It is actually worth the struggle especially for those that finish well, a well to do organization could just give him or her a good position to manage, a quick employment. Talking about self esteem as well, it can make the dumbest kid in the primary level become the most outspoken passing out of the university. It's not magic but a constant process that shapens and redirects the mindset.
Imagine coming out well and being the pride of the family. This brings us to the reason why some students strive to become educated by all means, it's just to elevate the family out of poverty. Now, looking back at everyone at home, such drive and passion to obtain a degree could make such student's result to be the best paving way for others in the family to be educated and make someone of value to the world at large.
Getting a degree and the right connection (this has to do with your social skills) is one of the easiest ways to become someone of substantial value to the world. Be smart and prudent.
