NECESSARY INFORMATION BEFORE ENBACKING ON NIGERIA SCHOLARSHIPS PROGRAM

  For the fact that scholarships are common factors that pump students' adrenaline for success, it has become a necessity for every state to give students a chance to benefit financially for being indigenes of the state. Of course, bills are to be settled, tuition and accommodation fees amongst a few are very necessary especially from the beginning of the session; this is where the government assist, by paying what is called "bursary", a particular amount of money given to students of different tribal groups of the state. It is actually the right of every student as it encourages the pursuit of education especially in the less-educated region of the country. 

  That being said, we can very well see the progress such a thing has made, looking at it from the angle of students, it's a very comforting way to enjoy the ups and downs of the session knowing fully well of the monetary benefits that comes afterwards. Scholarship programs have been introduced long ago, it opens a doorway of opportunities. Such programs have helped in settling hefty bills and taken some students abroad for better opportunities. We very well know that federal universities are cheaper than private universities but this fact doesn't stop the fact that everyone is seen as equal when applying for scholarships as it demands intelligence and smartness. 

 HOW TO SECURE SCHOLARSHIPS. 

1. GATHER INFORMATION. 

   If you are not informed, you would be deformed. Information is key, be versatile in gathering it. Do not just put your eggs in a basket, source for everything related to your course of study or talent. Belong to productive clubs or groups in school and be active, making sure you get the right information at the right time makes everything right. 

2. GO TO EXTRA MILES. 

  Scholarship examinations are quite challenging as it involves million of students participating with only a few slots. Read, study and understand, burn candles when others are sleeping. Tutorials help a lot, attend them and make sure to always eat light whenever you want to study. It is a perfect time to be close to your lecturers because lecturers like students that are bright and smart and would not turn such offers of progress for such students. They would be willing to give their best to succeed. Just aim higher than normal. 

3. APPLY EARLY

   For every scholarship you want to go for, make sure you send your application form early. One of the importance of being informed because if you don't and submit days before it ends, they are chances you are likely to lose out. Punctuality is vital in a classroom but it shouldn't just end there, for everything you do as an individual, make sure you do it early. 

4. AVOID DISTRACTIONS. 

  It is advisable to stay off friends and social media during the preparation period. You should not jeopardize your future for pleasure. Run away from anything that does not concern the scholarship and if possible, remain unavailable to some social activities in school. 

5. BE CONFIDENT

   Some scholarship process demands your presence. If invited for an interview, remember that "attitude is everything", do not for any reason feel intimidated or act arrogantly. Go with utmost respect and determination, make eyes contacts and finish well.

  It is every parent's joy to see the child excel. To become great starts with vital steps and no one knows what tomorrow holds. This is why you should grab any opportunity that comes your way and never underrated your potential.
