HOW TO CONTROL MOOD SWINGS WHILE IN SCHOOL IN NIGERIA

There are good days and bad days as well. The days you would be happy for no reason and vice versa. It is quite normal for students to have mood swings because it's not easy trying to master all the courses and still keep a firm grade. You could feel like screaming, it's very expected because the system is quite stressful, making you exceed your limit and going to extra miles to fulfill the desired result.

Ignorance is more expensive than education, hence, it should be a drive for prosperity. Thinking about failure alone is exhausting but the thoughts of being ignorant is fearful. It takes a lot to finish strong and when running the last lap of your years in school, the final year, there's this relaxation that comes with it.

DEALING WITH MOOD SWINGS.

It's necessary for you to know how to handle mood swings so it won't take the better use of you in the future. It is quite confusing to understand what you feel at times due to stress and pressure, that is why you should:

1. HAVE AN ALONE TIME.

Everyone that dreads failure tend to have a very strict routine to kick against failure and aim for success, it could make you want to go crazy like the medical and engineering students for example, mathematics and biology amongst many can be so broad that students would want to give up but determination is key to overcoming such. It's very okay to cry, to have doubts and to isolate yourself once in a while because you are human and you respond to stress and tension; if going all out would make you better, take a day off, go to your favorite place and pour out your emotions, there and then, you would feel good and come out stronger.

2. RUN AWAY FROM SADISTS

Distant yourself from people that are full of only negativities. Your mental health should be a top priority. Do not feed your ears with what is not. It could get to a point you think you can't cope or move on and at such point, take a break and recall what is at hand: losing such opportunity and dropping out or persevering till the end, getting your desired result. Evaluate things, take a step back, flee from negativities, breath and move on.

3. KNOW WHEN TO TAKE A BREAK

The school environment would break and make you. If you've gotten to your limit, do not push further, take a break. Stay off the environment for some while, do some yoga, think and reflect of all you have achieved. If you do not take a break, your body would and it would at a time you least expect. So, it's better to prevent a forced break than to cause yourself harm.

Mood swings are best  resolved with a calm state of mind, over reacting would cause more harm than good. It's okay to have pauses but do not dwell so much on the negative mood. You are human, rest and be happy.

HOW TO GET BEST PROJECTS AND DEFENSE IN TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS.

Classes upon classes, tutorials upon tutorials and finally, you would reach a stage where a project would be introduced. A project is a research given to students by their supervisors concerning their fields of study. It is a compulsory credit unit course for all intending graduating students. Project topics, depending on the department are mostly developed during the students internship, in other cases, the project supervisor suggests or recommends a topic to their student. While in a fewer cases, the topic could be the student's idea right from their first year in school.  The idea of projects is to test the student's readiness to solving real life and industry based problems.
