INNOVATIONS DONE BY STUDENTS IN NIGERIA.

Nigerian students are so creative. We have students in primary schools already constructing mobile machines with little resources, it is really amazing how much effort is put into something that benefits all. Students possess unfathomable potentials.

The northern part of Nigeria is majorly the ignorant part of the country and the little percent of students that are serious in education have been able to produce meaningful inventions as recorded sometime in 2019 where young boys developed a method on how to create effects in movies as well as the invention of moving objects.

Physics is one subject that broadens the mindset, it is very particular in details. The rise to technological advancement is because of the hardwork invested on the knowledge gotten from classrooms and the surroundings. Aside the fact that students go out of their way as little as 15years of age to learn under a boss, to learn how to repair automobiles is overwhelming. We have them in the society and majority are called "apprentice". Technological innovations start from the brain, the manpower invested and ideas bring the birth of plenty innovations we can see. The story of a young boy that was able to construct a plane with wood is one fascinating experience to witness. Being able to innovate is another thing as this generation is advanced, there are students known as "human calculators", it is quite surprising to see students under the age of 18 solving technical mathematical problem off-hand without stressing themselves or reacting to unnecessary pressure. It is applaudable as well, to the parents or guardians for supporting the child.

In the world of art, we can see rapid developments. Students in higher institutions make cool cash from drawing. Art has gone beyond drawing with pencils and decorating with colors. It has opened and paved way for imaginations to come to life. We have modern Picassos as secondary school students and such feat was not just achieved in a day as consistency has a major role to play.

Bringing new things or norms is a big deal and no talent is a waste. Students are the major pioneers of anything new in the society. No matter how young or feeble they look, they are vibrant and evergreen in knowledge. Some students might not be sound academically but practically, they are gurus. It is really no one's fault as to where and how a student might tend to grab a particular knowledge that is being passed because truth be told, we have the early child "Ben Carsons" in our midst, slow to assimilate but very bright upstairs.

Support a child's dream, do not scold when it seems difficult to direct the child in the way of schooling, depriving him or her of the passion boiling inwards. Education is essential so is its application to the society. In fact, the application is best because nowadays, companies only employ you according to what you can achieve with ideas and not what you just read to pass in an examination.

HOW TO REDUCE THE SOCIAL LIFE IN THE ACADEMIC SETTING

"All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy", this statement is very true. This is where the Students' Union Government, SUG comes in; in the government, we have different offices like the the welfare director, sport director, social director to mention a few. Activities like football competitions, pre matric parties, quiz competitions, valentine specials are done semester by semester.     Some students are introverts, they do not associate themselves with such things but there is every need to relax your muscles after a stressful semsester. It doesn't mean you are less serious with your studies but it means you can balance your mental and physical lifestyle.     Other activities like elections(SUG's) is another essential activity to partake in, for any student to be elected, he or she must have a good grade, that means, even while having fun, studies and seriousness has a major role. Social activities enhances the psychological health most imp...

HOW TO GET BEST PROJECTS AND DEFENSE IN TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS.

Classes upon classes, tutorials upon tutorials and finally, you would reach a stage where a project would be introduced. A project is a research given to students by their supervisors concerning their fields of study. It is a compulsory credit unit course for all intending graduating students. Project topics, depending on the department are mostly developed during the students internship, in other cases, the project supervisor suggests or recommends a topic to their student. While in a fewer cases, the topic could be the student's idea right from their first year in school.  The idea of projects is to test the student's readiness to solving real life and industry based problems. This is done by collating data about the project, juxtaposition of facts and figures, identifying problems and proferring solution. Offering possible recommendations where necessary. In other ways, students make research to solve industry based problems. The project starts when a supervisor assign a top...

WASTE RECYCLING IN NIGERIA INSTITUTION

Environmental pollution is a perennial problem to man. The culture of having to dispose waste properly in such a way that it is less or not harmful to the society is a practice that have really come a long way. However, over time disposing of waste, both organic and inorganic in one way or the other pose threat to man’s existence as non biodegradable waste such as plastic, glass, metal, tires, textile, batteries, electronics and paper do not decompose but remain in their physical form and pose huge threat of pollution to both land and aquatic habitats.         Hence, the idea of recycling was introduced. Recycling is the collection of already used component materials for break down and reuse. Recycling starts with the proper collection of the waste. Most times, the waste are collected in separate bins or packages. For example plastic waste are collected differently from paper waste and in other cases were they are collected together, t...
