NATIONAL YOUTH SERVICE CORPS (NYSC).            The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is a one-year program/training that every graduate from either the public or private higher institutions must partake in. It was formed 22nd of May 1973 by Yakubu Gowon with its headquarters situated in Abuja, Nigeria. It was set up to mend the gap the civil war caused on the national.    "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy", this statement is very true. This is where the Students' Union Government, SUG comes in; in the government, we have different offices like the the welfare director, sport director, social director to mention a few. Activities like football competitions, pre matric parties, quiz competitions, valentine specials are done semester by semester.     Some students are introverts, they do not associate themselves with such things but there is every need to relax your muscles after a stressful semsester.
